Greetings! Welcome to the month of December!
Today is a new day full of new opportunities and possibilities! How can I be so positive? It is because I have a relationship with the one who ordained this day for me and for you. That is God Himself.
In the previous post, we established that He is the one who shaped you in your mother’s womb and He did it according to the purpose He has for you. (Psalms 139:13-16) He is not a distant God but one who is personal, good and loving. He is one who knows us and cares for us individually. He is working on our behalf even when we don’t know it. He is full of mercy and grace toward us. These mercies are given to us by Him fresh daily. The Scriptures put it this way:
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22,23 ESV)
God’s love for us is stubborn. He does not give up on us. He desires for us to know Him – to have a relationship with Him. He has made a way for this to be possible. It came with a great cost to him, opening up a myriad of benefits for us. One of the benefits is the ability to face each day with hope and joy.
Embrace this day with hope and gratitude to the one who made it.
In my next post, we will explore what God did to make it possible for us to be in relationship Him -the one who knows us thoroughly and loves us completely.
